Many of you will have heard of the QDTS Group, with QDTS Construction being at the forefront of the company for the past few years. But now we want to introduce our new venture, QDTS Properties.

The idea of QDTS Properties came 2 years ago when Founder and Managing Director of the QDTS Group, Terry Benson, was completing a student property building for Josh McGuinness MRICS, our now Head of Development at QDTS Properties. Terry always had the ambition to expand the QDTS Group’s portfolio into the property industry and meeting Josh was the perfect opportunity. In early 2019, Josh made the decision to leave the company he was working for to join Terry in making The QDTS Properties dream a reality.

At QDTS Properties we work collaboratively with clients, Professional Consultants and planning and regeneration officers and local councillors. We have extensive in-house expertise and a close-knit network of external specialists. We are strongly positioned to support landowners to ensure that the land is adding value – both for its owner and the local community. We are solutions-focused and use our in-depth understanding of the UK’s planning system to navigate restrictions and co-create developments that people can truly take pride in.

And so QDTS Properties is born …

Although QDTS Properties falls under the same group as QDTS Construction, it was important to keep the businesses separate as each business serves a very different audience.

QDTS Properties will service two primary clients, which include ‘the end user’ who may be private individuals, housing associations or owner occupier organisations and the landowners (no matter how big or small) who would benefit from either disposing of their land or working in joint venture with us.

At QDTS Properties, we are hoping that the launch of our new website and brand will reflect the quality and competence that we get to see every day in our projects. We have set out to convey real quality with a clean brand that people can look to engage with; a brand that knows what they are doing and keeps the customer at the forefront of our minds at all times. A partner who wants to work with you on whatever property journey you might be on.

Our plan

At present QDTS Properties have secured one development which we are undertaking, with four more projects in the pipeline This is exciting considering we’ve only been working ‘full-time’ on the business since August 2019. There are current growth plans in place to develop our own properties for sale and to also work in a joint venture with owner occupier organisations and housing associations to deliver properties on their behalf. Our goal is to have a minimum of 3 developments per year in our portfolio and a pipeline of a further 3 developments each year.
